How to calculate babysitter pay
Multiply the agreed hourly rate by hours worked. This tool uses decimal hours: 4 hours 30 minutes is 4.5 hours, not 4.30. At $20/hour, that booking costs $90. The weekly total assumes two identical bookings.
If you agreed on a separate child add-on, the formula is (base hourly rate + extra-child rate × additional children) × hours. For two children at a $20 base plus an agreed $2/hour add-on, four hours costs $88. If $20 already covers both children, the same booking costs $80.

Does the rate include both children?
Use the rate you agreed with the sitter. If that price covers all children, leave the extra-child add-on at zero.
How do I enter hours and minutes?
Divide minutes by 60 and add the full hours. Four hours and 30 minutes is 4.5 hours; four hours and 15 minutes is 4.25 hours.
What does the weekly total mean?
It is the price of two identical bookings. For a different schedule, multiply your booking total by the number of bookings yourself.
